Continuing the series of Conferences in Mysore, India (2000), Warsaw, Poland (2002-04), Izmir, Turkey (2005), Mashad, Iran (2006), Amman, Jordan (2007), Aachen, Germany (2008), Zagazig, Egypt (2010), Murcia, Spain (2012), Będlewo, Poland (2014), Piraeus, Greece (2016), the Department of Statistics and Operations Research of the University of Cádiz will host the 13th International Conference on Ordered Statistical Data OSD 2018. The meeting will be held in Cádiz, Spain, May 22nd – 25th 2018.

The conference will bring forth recent advances and trends in the mathematical theory of ordered statistical data, including order statistics and their generalizations, censoring schemes, stochastic orders and their applications in reliability, statistics and lifetime analysis. The scientific program will include plenary talks and sessions of contributed talks. We also plan to organize several social events.

The conference venue will be located in the city of Cádiz. Cádiz is located at the south of Spain and in that epoch the weather is soft, days are long and sunny, the day temperatures vary between 16° and 25° C and streets are plenty of people enjoying this lovely and safe city almost surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean. For accommodation, we will recommend several hotels in posterior announcement

We cordially invite you to come to Cádiz for OSD 2018, present your achievements, exchange your research ideas, start and develop collaboration with other researchers from all over the world, and contribute to the further development of the field of ordered statistical data.
